DO YOU KNOW YOUR OWN FEET?

THERE'S MORE TO YOUR FEET THAN YOUR SHOE SIZE!

EXPLORE YOUR UNIQUE FOOT SHAPE AND ITS INFLUENCE ON YOUR DANCING DAYS!

Dancers ask a lot of their feet.   Each unique foot type and shape has different strengths and weaknesses for dancing and implications for shoe fit.  In fact, Scottish Country and Highland Dancers have similar issues to ballet dancers and ballroom dancers because of the emphasis on sustained balance on the balls of the foot (or for Highland Dancers demi-pointe) and the emphasis on turn-out.  Some of us spend an inordinate amount of time looking for the perfect fit in our ghillies!

Identify then learn more about your foot shape, vulnerabilities, along with suggestions for types of shoes that may be the most compatible!

And although you may not have the "ideal" foot, take comfort in the fact that your personality traits (as gleaned from your foot shape) may balance out everything else.

Have you heard of Palm Reading?  Well, there is Foot and Toe Reading too!  Who would have thought?!
